Digitail is a software solution for veterinary clinics to help increase management efficiency and to connect them to pet owners and suppliers. The company has recently been through the FastTrack Accelerator in Malmo and has raised 220,000 EUR from FTMO, The Nordic Web Ventures, Futuristic and angels such as Hampus Jakobsson, Erik Byrenius, Jonas Vig (CEO of MinDoktor) and Emil Sjödin (Refined). The money will be used to fuel early stage growth and increase traction.
Digitail’s vision is to fully connect the veterinary ecosystem.
Through an easy to use Practice Management System (SaaS), veterinarians can increase retention of customers and frequency of visits by sending automatic personalized notifications, get more clients by having an online presence with an integrated online booking system and have an overview of their stock & inventory and receive recommendation about their stock needs based on future appointments.
On top of the PMS for vets, Digitail is building a Digital Health Card for pet owners, which is a doctor endorsed app that helps them communicate with their vets, have centralized health records and guide them in what are the best products & insurance plans for their pets.
The goal is to enable pet owners to have the full medical history of their pet directly on their mobile phone, book & manage appointments & be in constant touch with their veterinarian, receive notifications for when they need to come for visits and benefit from a personalised recommendation system for products, treatments, preventive care plans and insurance plans for their pets – becoming the go-to place for any pet owner.
The co-founders Sebastian Gabor and Ruxandra Pui are serial entrepreneurs and pet parents that have bootstrapped Digitail until now. They have been working together for the last 7 years delivering digital solutions to companies like Hasbro, Disney, P&G and building products for emerging economies.

“Digitail will digitize a large share of the 80,000+ veterinary practices and empower the majority of the 500.000.000+ pet owners with the Digital Health Card, many of whom are millennials.
We feel that physical health cards are outdated and pet parents deserve a better way to manage their pets health. However, pet parents still keep health records on paper, get medical information from Google and connect with the vet only when they physically go there.
This has to change in order to provide better care for pets and the only way to build a digital health card app is to digitize the information which is currently either on paper or inaccessible in legacy systems.”
